Host a Backpacks 4 Kids! Drive

United, we are the change in the community! Rally your family, friends, and colleagues to host a Backpacks 4 Kids! drive. Whether it's a packing party at your home, workplace, or place of worship, your efforts will provide children in Passaic County with the school supplies they need for a strong start to the school year.

How to Host a Drive – 

  1. Pick Your Crew- Invite your family, friends, or coworkers to get involved! Form a team and choose a name for fun.

  2. Set a Goal- Decide how many full backpacks you want to donate—start small or go big!

  3. Choose a Collection Method

    • Physical donations: Collect supplies in a box at your home, office, or place of worship.

    • Monetary donations: Pool funds to buy supplies in bulk online or from local stores.

  4. Host a Packing Party- Make it fun! Set up a packing station with snacks, music, and great conversation to fill backpacks together.

  5. Drop-off Full Backpacks- Drop off the full backpacks at the Clifton Public Library located at 292 Piaget Ave Clifton, NJ on Aug. 21st or 22nd between 10am-4pm
