TOY DRIVE AND COLD-WEATHER GEAR DRIVE FOR FAMILIES IN PASSAIC COUNTY
Donation collection dates are December 7th + 8th 2026 at the Clifton Public Library
For many ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families across Passaic County, working hard still doesn’t leave enough to cover everything. After rent, groceries, childcare, transportation, and other essentials, there may be little left when winter arrives and children need warm coats, hats, gloves, and other cold-weather gear—let alone something special to open during the holidays.
No family should have to choose between staying warm and creating a little holiday joy for their children.
Through Winter Wishes, your generosity can help ease that choice. A new coat can mean warmth on a freezing morning. A new toy can give a child the excitement of opening something chosen just for them. A gift card can give a parent the dignity and flexibility to provide what their family needs most.
Donate new toys, cold-weather gear, or gift cards and help give hardworking Passaic County families something they deserve this season: a little more warmth, a little less worry, and more reason to celebrate.
3 Ways To Get Involved with Winter Wishes
Register your toy drive or cold-weather gear drive by clicking HERE. Choose the dates you will be collecting for your drive. Pick a designated final week for your group to collect items so everyone has time to shop and contribute. Plan on a few extra days after your deadline to still receive gifts from latecomers.

- Arts & Craft Kits
- Jewelry Making Kits
- Science Kits
- Building Sets
- Legos
- Picture or Chapter Books
- Infant & Toddler Toys
- Teen & Tween Gifts
- Action Figures
- Toy Trucks & Cars
- Children’s Hat & Mittens
- Children's Coats
- Adults Hat & Mittens
- Adult Coats
- Gift Cards (Suggested stores: Walmart, Amazon, Target, ShopRite, VISA)
All items must be new, in original packaging. Suggested price range: $10-$25 an item.
Donations will need to be dropped off at the Clifton Public Library Dec. 7th 11am-5pm, and Dec. 8th 1pm-7pm
You can give of your time by volunteering for our Winter Wishes drive. We need help the sorting, inventory and organizing of all the donations.
