Host Your Own "Winter Wishes" Gifts/Toy Drive
Hosting a drive at your place of work, worship or with your friends is a great way to encourage others to give back to those in need. Here are a few simple tips to make it easy and fun! Your efforts will help bring joy to families this holiday season! For more information please contact bethsaida@unitedwaypassaic.org
1. Register your drive!
Click: HERE to register. Choose the dates for your drive. Pick a designated week for your group to collect items so everyone has time to shop and contribute. Plan on a few extra days after your deadline to still receive gifts from latecomers. Our partner agencies will be holding their holiday parties the week of December 9h. So, please plan on collecting all gifts for your drive by Wednesday December 4. This way we can get the gifts to the agencies in time.
2. Spread the word!
Make sure everyone knows about this opportunity to give back! We are sharing posters that you can use to help promote your drive.

- Email your co-workers and friends.
- Remind everyone!
3. Set up a collection bin.
Choose a place that everyone will see. Don’t forget signage – click here to download your FREE 8.5x14 Collections poster. Add your own donations to the bin (people like to see that someone has started!).
4. Collect!!!
Now it’s time to watch your group come together to support those in need! We are collecting:

- Puzzles / Brain Teasers
- Sports Balls
- Diverse Dolls of all kinds
- Arts & Craft Kits
- Jewelry Making Kits
- Science Kits
- Building Sets
- Legos
- Picture or Chapter Books
- Infant & Toddler Toys
- Teen & Tween Gifts
- Action Figures
- Toy Trucks & Cars
- Children’s hats & mittens
- Children's coats
- Adult coats
- Adult hats + mittens
- Gift Cards (Walmart, Amazon, ShopRite, Target, etc...)
All items must be new, in original packaging. Suggested price range: $10-$25 an item.
5. Drop Off Gifts
All donations will be dropped off at a location in Wayne, NJ from Dec. 4th-Dec. 6th.
Thank You!
Your donations of TOYS, OUTERWEAR and GIFT CARDS will be distributed to children and families served by other nonprofit partners in Passaic County.
With your help, many families will have a more warm + joyful holiday!
