Women United Luncheon Marks a Powerful Step Forward for Our Community

What an incredible moment for our community.

The Inaugural Women United Fundraiser Luncheon brought together an extraordinary group of individuals — all united by a shared commitment to strengthening families and creating opportunity in Passaic County.

From moving personal stories to powerful conversations, the afternoon reminded us of what’s possible when passion meets purpose. Together, we honored individuals whose leadership and service continue to inspire change — and celebrated the collective power that happens when our community shows up for one another.

A heartfelt thank you to our honorees- Ellen Michelson, Fayth Holt, Assemblywoman Alixon Collazos- Gill and Lt. Governor Tahesha Way- sponsors, our event host- CBS reporter, Alice Gainer, and every guest who purchased a ticket, made a contribution, or helped spread the word. Your support brought this event to life and made it an unforgettable moment for Passaic County.

And thanks to the incredible generosity of those who chose to become monthly donors or Women United members, we’re thrilled to share that we unlocked the $5,000 Challenge Grant presented by Ana Oliveira and The New York Women’s Foundation!

This milestone represents more than a financial achievement — it’s a statement of what we can accomplish when our community stands united. These funds will help us deepen our work supporting families, advancing education, and creating opportunities throughout Passaic County.
