United Way Legal Representation Project for the Disabled
The United Way Legal Assistance Project for the Disabled offers legal representation for county residents to help prevent homelessness, ensure safe and affordable housing, preserve rental housing, prevent foreclosures and the termination or denial of housing and homelessness assistance, and prevent discrimination in housing based on race or disability. In addition, representation is also provided in Social Security Disability and SSI matters. Specific legal services vary depending on the specific assistance required to resolve the legal problem. In most cases individual representation is provided.
