The Parenting Journey
Parenting Journey is a 12 session parent education and support program, patterned after a curriculum developed by The Family Center in Boston. The emphasis of the program is to develop self awareness, self respect, a capacity to use resources, and the ability to understand influences (both positive and negative) in their own upbringing. In addition emphasis is placed on knowing what they need to become effective parents. The class is offered in English and in Spanish.

HELPS (Helping Early Language and Play Skills)
H.E.L.P.S. (Helping Early Language and Play Skills) is a special program for 2-3 year old children with disabilities and their parents in the upper Passaic county area. It offers weekly play groups which focuse on building communication and language skills. Parents meet during these sessions to learn how to help their children. Improving communication skills, parenting, advocacy, and disability issues are discussed. Peer support and case management with a licensed social worker is available.

Positive Place Pre-School
The Positive Place Preschool meets the needs of the community by providing children a safe, nurturing and learning environment. Children who take part in the Preschool program acquire the proper emotional, social, and cognitive skills that are needed as well as being prepared for Kindergarten.
